Life with Tucker

Hi everyone!

I am so excited to say that our little corgi is home! Tucker is such a cute little puppy with a huge personality! He is going to be extremely sassy like me, but it's okay.

We are currently working on potty training, leash training, and clicker training. Gotta start them out young, am I right? He is really great at his crate training! The past two nights he has only woken us up once. He is very vocal when he needs to go out, which is such a great thing. He doesn't cry much in his crate. After I take him out during the night, he does cry for 5 to 10 minutes. It is nothing too bad.

Tucker does have a 30 minute spurt of energy and then he gets all "tuckered" out! He is teething at the moment. It totally sucks because he chews on everything I wear and he bites our hands and goes after our feet. We are trying different ways to get him to stop. Before he goes in for the bite, we put a toy in front of him that he can chew. If he does get to us, we yell "ow" or snap and say no and ignore him for like 10 seconds. He has a ton of toys that he can chew on! I hate disciplining him, but it needs to be done.

He is truly a big sweetheart and I love him with all of my heart.
