Haircare, Skincare, & More!

Hello everyone! I hope everyone is enjoying their Wednesday! Allergies are killing me, but it isn't quite stopping me yet. Recently, I've been getting questions like what do I use for my hair and what do you do to make your skin so clear? So I'm posting most of the products that I use! As a little tip, I go to the Planet Beauty in my local mall. They always have great sales and awesome BOGO's every time I stop in!

For Hair:
I am a HUGE fan of Joico products. About twice or three times a week I use Joico: Color Endure Violet shampoo and conditioner. I have been trying to stay very light for my hair. I actually haven't gotten my hair colored or cut since July of 2016! These purple hair products have been saving my life! My blonde parts still haven't faded at all!!! Both hair and personality!!!!
The 10 oz. shampoo is $16 and the 10 oz. conditioner is $18.
If I am not using my purple products, I am using these Joico products. The K-Pak collection is amazing! When I first got my hair done, the K-Pack Color Therapy really helped! Of course, you shouldn't use purples for every wash, so the Color Therapy did a great job keeping a nice blonde on me. As my hair grows and my style turned more into an ombre, I have started using Body Luxe. It really adds a ton of volume whenever I feel like my hair is dull.
K-Pak: Color Therapy shampoo (10 oz.) is $15. Regular K-Pak conditioner (10 oz.) is $17.
Body Luxe shampoo (10 oz.) is $14.
So after I wash my hair, I style it of course. I always use leave in products to protect from heat. It's a 10: Miracle Leave-In is one of my favorites. It smells amazing and it leaves your hair oh so smooth! On the tips of my hair, I rub in a little bit of Moroccan Oil to cure split ends. I am not perfect. I have the worst split ends.
It's a 10: Miracle Leave-In (4 oz.) is $19. Moroccan Oil Treatment (0.85 oz.) is $15.
Recently, I ran out of It's a 10 and I have a wee bit of Moroccan Oil left. I felt as if the It's a 10 slowly stopped working because I had been using it for years! As a break, I took a trip to Lush and I found my favorites. I don't know how to describe R&B. It is my replacement for It's a 10. If you talk to me about R&B I will go on for way too long. So R&B, you put a quarter size in your hand and you mix it and then you scrunch it through your hair. This stuff stays on your hair until the next wash. If you walk into a windy area, other people can smell this stuff come off of your hair and it smells so good! It leaves your hair shiny and smelling awesome while still protecting from heat and damage. Shine So Bright is great to just toss in your bag. It is a split end treatment, so if I notice that my ends are nasty, I put a little bit on my finger and rub it through my ends. Again, it leaves my hair smelling awesome and it helps keep those split ends calm.
R&B (3.5 oz.) is $26. Shine So Bright (0.4 oz.) is $10.
For styling, I use a flat iron that has no brand on it, but it does the job. But when I curl my hair, I mainly use my 1'' T3 Twirl! It is older, but I love it. It is slowly dying though. I have finally changed the last spring in it and I already feel it coming loose. I got this curler from a great friend back when I was a freshman in high school (Shout out to you if you are reading this, I miss you!!) so it has lasted me over 6 years!! I am hoping to get a new one really soon. I definitely want to stick with T3 because it hasn't let me down. If you haven't seen the new T3 Twirls, please look it up. It is the Rolls Royce of curing irons. It will be mine, oh yes. It will be mine! Anyway, I part my hair into 3 layers and I curl layer by layer and I usually stick to curling it one way. I just make the curls tighter than others so they won't all form into one curl.
This older model is sold out. The brand new model is $185.
After I do each layer, I spray my hair with Kenra: 25. This is one of the best hairsprays! It doesn't leave your hair feeling like a potato chip, but it will hold like glue! It also helps with keeping the volume. The can is cute too. After I finish curling, I don't brush it out, I leave it to die during the day and eventually, it calls for amazing second day curls!
Kenra: 25 (10 oz.) is $18.

For Skin & More:
This is all I do to my skin. If you know me, you know that I do not wear make up. I never have worn make up unless it was for a special event in that case some one else would have done my make up for me. I don't know how to apply make up. I am lucky because I take amazing care of my skin. I have been using this cleanser for about a little more than a year now. It is called Murad: Clarifying Cleanser. My beloved introduced it to me and he called it toothpaste for your face. It is toothpaste for your face. In the shower, I get a dime size amount on my fingers and I rub it on my face. Never use your palms. There is a pretty chill about of bacteria on your palms. Anyway, you leave it on your face and wash it about a minute later. Your face will feel like mint. I hope that makes sense, but I have not had a break out in quite some time. Also, please wash your pillow cases about once a week or two. It helps.
Murad: Clarifying Cleanser (6.75 oz.) is $30.
For my teeth, I have one tooth that is not white like the others. Sounds gross, but I am pissed about it! For my toothpaste, I use Sensodyne Pronamel: Gentle Whitening. I have not experience a toothpaste that compares to it. I remember using Colgate and the back of my teeth would always feel gritty and gross. After I started using Sensodyne, I haven't felt that way again. For whitening, you probably see it on FaceBook about that charcoal powder for your teeth and there are girls like showing off their black teeth and it was weird. I had picked up this stuff from Tj Maxx and I use it once or twice a week and it works! It is powder so sometimes my counters get messy, but my teeth look a lot whiter than before!
Natural Whitening Tooth & Gum Powder with Activated Charcoal (2.75 oz.) is $10.

I hope everyone enjoyed this post! I spend a chill about of my coins for these products because they work so well for me! I used to use hair products that were $3 from Wal-Mart a long time ago and it never helped with damage except to make it worse. For example, I used Pantene a long time ago when it was the first time I had my hair colored blonde and within a month or two, I had suddenly gone silver. I thought it was cool, but it was not at all! I had wasted so much money on a coloring session that I didn't take care of! If anyone has any questions, suggestions, or comments, feel free to leave a reply!

Thanks for reading!!
